What Amazon Fire tablets is Osmo compatible with?

Osmo is compatible with only the following Amazon Fire tablets:

  • Amazon Fire 7 (7th Generation, 2017 Release, including kids edition, case removed)
  • Amazon Fire HD 8 (7th Generation, 2017 Release, including kids edition, case removed)
  • Amazon Fire HD 10 (7th Generation, 2017 Release, including kids edition, case removed)
  • Amazon Fire HD 8 (8th Generation, 2018 Release, including kids edition, case removed)
  • Amazon Fire 7 (9th Generation, 2019 Release, including kids edition, case removed)
  • Amazon Fire HD 10 (9th Generation, 2019 Release, including kids edition, case removed) 

Note that the minimum Fire OS version required is 5.0.

Please note that Osmo is not currently compatible with the new Fire HD8 tablet, which was released in May 2020 and started shipping June 3rd. Once we receive one of these devices, we'll start the process of assessing whether or not we can support it. 

Since the camera is now located in a different area of the device, it will take Osmo time to complete the assessment.
